The Supreme Court of India has put a stay on the board exams being conducted for Class 5, 8, 9 and 11 by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB). The examinations were complete. The students were expecting their results on 8th April. However, even before the results were published, the Supreme Court issued a stay by overturning the decision of the High Court.
The schools have been advised not to publish the results. This is until the next hearing, wherein a decision will be reached with regard to this legal dispute.

The board exams for class 5,8,9 and 11 were conducted in March 2024. The Registered Unaided Private Schools’ Management Association (RUPSA) approached the court requesting a stay in this regard. Our School was another petitioner in this case. They alleged discrepancies in the evaluation process of the exam papers.
