Man posing as a senior KMF official and KAS officer allegedly cheated over 10 job seekers by promising employment using fake ads, ID cards and official-looking emails.

A major cheating case has come to light in Bengaluru, where a man allegedly duped several people by promising them jobs in the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) in exchange for huge sums of money.

According to the complaint, the accused, identified as Krishnan, introduced himself as a KAS officer and claimed to be holding a senior position in KMF. He allegedly approached multiple victims by showing them a newspaper advertisement related to KMF recruitment and claimed that he himself had arranged for the ad to be published.

The accused reportedly demanded ₹10 lakh per job and assured the complainants that employment in KMF was guaranteed. To gain trust, he allegedly showed an identity card and claimed he had direct control over recruitment decisions within the organisation.

OFFICIAL LOOKING EMAILS

The complainant stated that Krishnan further strengthened his claims by sending official-looking OTPs and emails using KMF’s name, making the entire process appear genuine. Believing these assurances, the complainant reportedly arranged money not just personally but also collected funds from family members and friends.

Victims were allegedly told that their names were already included in the final selection list and that the jobs were confirmed. However, when they followed up for appointment orders, the accused reportedly claimed that “senior officials” were demanding an additional ₹15 lakh to complete the process, insisting that paying more money would ensure final confirmation.
