State and cyber crime police intensify surveillance on social media, track past offenders, and plan strict legal action to prevent paper leaks and illegal sales.

As SSLC and PUC examinations begin from today, the state police and cyber crime units have gone into full high-alert mode to prevent any form of question paper leaks, online circulation, or illegal sale of exam papers. Authorities have intensified monitoring across digital platforms to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.

Police officials said special teams are closely tracking social media platforms and WhatsApp groups, where offenders often attempt to circulate question papers or demand money in exchange for them. Strict action will be taken against anyone found sharing, selling, or demanding money for question papers.

To curb such activities, the police are also keeping a close watch on old mobile numbers, online groups, and networks previously linked to paper leak cases. Individuals who were earlier involved in similar offences are being actively tracked and monitored, with intelligence teams maintaining constant surveillance.

In addition, police have announced plans to impose Section 144 around examination centres, prohibiting gatherings and preventing unauthorized access. This measure aims to ensure a secure environment during exam hours and block any attempt to disrupt the examination process.

Officials further warned that any sharing of exam-related information on social media platforms will attract strict legal action. Cyber crime teams are continuously scanning digital platforms to identify suspicious activity and remove misleading or illegal content immediately.
