Tejaswini resigned from the Vidhana Parishad as soon as the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections were announced. Tejaswini addressed the gathering after having formally joined the INC. “There is a widespread claim that there is a Narendra Modi wave across the country. If this is true why have they changed candidates in seats held by former Union Ministers. Why have the Lok Sabha constituencies of Narayan Swami and Shobha Karanadlaje been changed. The history of Congress precedes BJP by 95 years. I have returned to my home. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah, and Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar are source of inspiration for me, ” Tejaswini remarked.
