Niranjan Hiremath, the father of the deceased Neha, who was stabbed to death by Faiyaz in Karnataka’s Hubballi, has challenged his parents to kill him the same way he killed Neha.

“Had the parents informed me about their son’s intent, I would have safeguarded her. But now, it is gone. However, I challenge them to bring him out on bail and then stab him to death in the same way he did to my daughter,” he said.

As the investigations continue in the stabbing incident, it has now come to light that Faiyaz had tried killing his own father in relation to a property. When the police were apprised of this, they got him to sign an agreement and let him off.

The BJP, on the other hand, has alleged a ‘love jihad’ angle into the entire episode. Many murders in the last few days in the state have led many to wonder if the law and order situation has deteriorated in the state.

However, CM Siddaramaiah has laughed off the issue, saying the situation is under control.

Faiyaz’s parents, on the other hand, have sought a public apology over the incident.
