Amitabh Bachchan showers praises on Rajinikanth’s simplicity

The two superstars of Indian cine industry, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan have collaborated together for ‘Vettaiyan’ nearly after 34 years. The duo last acted together in the film ‘Hum’.

After having wrapped the shooting of the movie, the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has shared his thoughts about working with Rajinikanth. The actor said in his blog that he has wrapped up the shooting of the film but he was very scared to end it because he was afraid of not finding another chance to work with his dear friend and colleague Rajinikanth.

The actor also praised Rajinikanth for his humble character and soft nature even after attaining global success in the film industry.

Big B and Thalaiva last worked together in the Hindi film ‘Hum’, directed by Mukul Anand which was released in 1991. Rajinikanth played the role of Amitabh’s younger brother in the movie ‘Hum’ which went on to become a massive rage in the 1990s and was a huge success.

‘Vettaiyan’ is directed by TJ Gnanavel, has an ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan.

The music of the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the film is scheduled for a release in theatres this October.
